He was born in Scotland on 13th August 1888.

CAPTAIN COOK
Capitain James Cook was an explorer Navigator. He was born in 1728 in a small town in Yorkshire, England.
James Cook became a sailor at the age of 18 and when he was 27 he joined the Royal Navy. Cook became commander of the Endeavour in 1768 and sailed to the Pacific, where he discovered Australia and the Hawaian Islands . Later he became a captain.
Capitain Cook died at the age of 51; after that ,he was in Hawaii . His shipmates buried him at the sea .
PICASSO
Pablo Picaso was born in Malaga in 1881 and died in
1973. Pablo Picaso was a Spanish artist .
He was Jose Ruiz Blanco’s son. Pablo Picasso lived in Barcelona, Madrid and Paris. Pablo Picasso painted the Gernica picture …
My favourite picture is Gernica.

THOMAS EDISON
SHAKESPEARE
William Shakespeare was a writer. He was born in
Stratford on Avon (Great Britain) in 1564 and he died in the same place in
1616.
He lived in London and in 1613 he returned to Stratford. He wrote “Romeo
and Juliet”, “Hamlet”…
You can see his books in the book stores and in libraries. My favourite book
