VELAZQUEZ

Diego Velazquez was born in Sevilla on 5th July, 1599. He died in Madrid on 6th August, 1660.

He was considered the best painter, of Spanish painters. He starled as a painter in Madrid but he was best known when he began to be the painter of the king.

Some of his paintings are Las Meninas, la Tunica de Jose.

My favourite is Las Meninas.
